Yemi Afariogun is an accomplished Architect, Project Management expert, and real estate developer with over two decades of experience, spanning from architectural design, construction project management to property development. She is the Founder and Managing Director of RY Projects, a design and Real Estate development company renowned for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and quality delivery.
Yemi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Lagos. She also earned an MSc. in Projects and Enterprise Management from The Bartlett School, University College London, equipping her with a strong multidisciplinary foundation in design, leadership, and project execution.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Yemi is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and she’s also registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON). She is also an alumna of Lagos Business School, having completed both the Owner Manager Programme (OMP) and the Women Leaders Development Programme (WLDP), further strengthening her leadership and business management expertise.
Prior to founding RY Projects in 2014, Yemi held Project Management positions at FBN Mortgages Limited and Briscoe Properties Limited, where she played a key role in the successful delivery of major real estate and construction developments.
Beyond her professional achievements, Yemi is deeply committed to empowering women and creating lasting social impact. She actively supports initiatives focused on the education, leadership, and advancement of the girl child, reflecting her belief that building thriving communities is as important as shaping the built environment.
